A fastener (US) or fastening (UK) is a hardware(or components) device that mechanically joins or affixes two or more parts together.

Fasteners that have been included in the standard system are called standard fasteners.

Standard fasteners include : bolts and screws, nuts, screws, washers & retaining rings, pins, rivets, welds, rigging & tools, anchors.

Fasteners that are not included in the standard are non-standard fasteners, which are generally produced according to drawings, and its basic technical requirements are also base on standard fasteners.

According to whether the fastener is threaded or not, it is divided into: External Threaded Fasteners, Inner Threaded Fasteners and Non-Threaded Fasteners.
